Ski resort, located in nearby village Potucky, on the state-borders with Germany, is long-time holder of status Best family-skiing in Carlsbad region. Ski areal Neklid
The ski resort Neklid you can find jsut few hunderds meters from village Bozi Dar. There are 5 slopes with lenght of 300–1000 meters, with various difficulty. There is also an excellent snowpark. Cross-country tracks in Ore Mountains
In winter, is the biggest attraction the Ore Mountain skiing highway, which lenght is of 242 km is incredible. Almost the entire length of the highway is maintained and is mapping completely the Ore Mountains from Cheb to Decin. The route is performed through scenic valleys, on the never-ending plains even over majestic peaks, which offers a distant view on Ore Mountains, and further on Doupov Mountains, Czech central-mountains or Lusatian Mountains. Along this highway are numerous another groomed trails and circuits, which with the combination of the Highway, can create countless all-day trips. The character of the plateau, typical for Ore Mountains, predisposes their wide-range use for cross-country skiing even for the novice skiers.
